The inaugural Nebraska Book Trail will run from June 1 through September 30, 2026, inviting book lovers, travelers, and families to discover more than 20 independent bookstores across Nebraska.

Inspired by the popular Nebraska Passport program, the Nebraska Book Trail encourages participants to support local bookstores, explore communities throughout the state, and experience unique literary destinations. Visitors can pick up a free Book Trail passport at any participating bookstore and collect a unique passport punch at each location they visit.
